What an dreadful product. The picture quality is terrible…it is most certainly not 1.3 MP.
The battery life is terrible also. We are constantly having to replace batteries on this camera.
The only positive I can say is that its a strong product and has stood up to my 2 yr ancient throwing it around.
But I beg people not to buy this. Its shockingly poor.

Got this for my daughter last November for her birthday. She loved it at first, then like all “toys” it finished up in a drawer untouched for several months. When she got “re-interested” in it and pulled it out to play with it, it wouldn’t turn on. Changed the batteries, still wouldn’t turn on. Called Fisher-Price, was told it was out of warranty so they couldn’t help. My daughter did nothing to this camera…it just stopped working. Kid-tough my butt. $50 down the tubes…she questions me to “fix it” every day and I refuse to buy another one.

We bought this for our 3 and 5 year ancient daughters and it is a huge hit. They took over 400 picutes (all on the internal memory) in the first day. They have shot everything from themselves, the tv screen, to our cats.
The quality of the pictures themselves is not fantastic, but that was not the purpose of the toy. It is extremely simple to use, turn on, snap pictures, etc and our kids can use it with no help from us. It also has a built in flash which I really was not expecting but is a positive. It also seems quite durable and has taken a few falls already.
If your intention is for your 3 year ancient to take incredible, frameable pictures then go get a DSLR and pray they don’t break it but if you want this to get your child interested in taking pictures and interested in virtually everything around them then get this toy.

My 4 year ancient grand daughter is having a blast taking pictures of everything in sight and then looking at the picture in the camera. I reckon this will lead to knowing how to take excellent pictures alot sooner than I learned at age 11 when I was given my small Brownie camera.

My 2 1/2 yr ancient likes this toy. The screen is a bit blurry, but she carries it with her everywhere she goes.
