Seems to work as advertised. I haven’t had the opportunity to place it to a real test yet.

Does what is expected of it. Works from 5 feet away (Longest I have tried so far.)

In fact none of the wireless IR remotes work with canon Rebel XS.. The rebel XS does not have an IR sensor. I was fooled into buying this.. Waste of 12 + 6 $ shipping. Will give it to my bro, who uses an XTi.

I bought this remote to be able to use from near, next to or behind my Canon EOS xsi when on a tripod to avoid camera shake, but it only seems to work if you’re some distance right in front of the camera. I didn’t get it to take pictures of myself, so for me it’s kindof useless.
